Report violation →
A report may be filed in the event of suspected unlawful conduct within the scope of Woolworth CZ's activities or in connection with them, which has the characteristics of a criminal offence or misdemeanour for which the law stipulates a fine of at least CZK 100,000, or which violates other laws specified in Section 2(1) of the Whistleblower Protection Act. Reports may also be submitted regarding suspected violations of Woolworth ČR's internal policies.
The reporting system is not intended for general complaints not related to illegal conduct specified in Section 2(1) of the Whistleblower Protection Act, for questions regarding goods and liability for defects, or for sending job applications. Such reports are not assessed within the meaning of the Whistleblower Protection Act.
Criminal offences
Reports of suspected criminal offences may relate, for example, to the following offences:
theft,
embezzlement,
fraud,
legalisation of proceeds from criminal activity,
tax evasion and other tax offences,
bribery,
sexual coercion, sexual assault and other crimes against human dignity in the sexual sphere,
crimes against life and health,
crimes against the environment.
Misdemeanours
A report of suspected commission of a misdemeanour for which the law stipulates a fine of at least CZK 100,000 may relate, for example, to the following misdemeanours:
violation of the rules of equal treatment and prohibition of discrimination,
violation of the rules on the protection of privacy and personal rights of employees,
violation of the rules on employee remuneration,
violation of working time rules,
violation of Occupational Health and Safety principles.
Violation of other legal regulations
Other legal regulations or European Union regulations covered by the Whistleblower Protection Act include regulations in the areas of:
financial services, statutory audit and other assurance services, financial products and financial markets,
corporate income tax,
prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing,
consumer protection,
compliance with product requirements, including product safety,
transport and road traffic safety,
environmental protection,
food and feed safety and animal protection and health,
radiation protection and nuclear safety,
economic competition, public auctions and public procurement,
protection of internal order and security, life and health,
protection of personal data, privacy and security of electronic communications networks and information systems,
protection of the financial interests of the European Union, or
the functioning of the internal market, including the protection of competition and state aid under European Union law.
